Head of Leadership and Management Training

About the role

The Head of Leadership and Management Training will lead the development and delivery of learning programmes for managers and leaders across the Trust. This role supports the strategic workforce objective of providing an outstanding staff experience within the NHS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and evaluate leadership and management training programmes that align with the Trust's values of compassion, excellence and collaboration.
• Ensure inclusive learning opportunities that enable staff to reach their full potential and maintain work‑life balance.
• Partner with senior leaders to identify development needs and embed learning into everyday practice.
• Monitor the impact of training initiatives and report on outcomes.
• Manage resources and budgets associated with training delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading leadership or management development programmes, preferably within a healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and curriculum design.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated commitment to inclusive and values‑based development.
