Head of Lettings

About the role

The Head of Lettings will lead the lettings team in a high‑performing branch, driving revenue and building strong landlord relationships. This senior position requires a commercially focused professional with a proven track record in valuations, instruction winning and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Driving lettings revenue and overall branch performance
• Winning new landlord instructions and carrying out market appraisals
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords, applicants and local contacts
• Managing, supporting and developing the lettings team
• Overseeing the lettings process from valuation through to move‑in
• Ensuring compliance, service standards and internal processes are maintained
• Identifying new business opportunities and increasing market share
• Monitoring team activity, pipeline and performance against targets

Required profile

• Previous experience in a senior lettings role
• Strong valuation and instruction‑winning experience
• Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a team
• Excellent knowledge of the lettings process and relevant legislation
• Commercially minded with a focus on revenue, service and growth
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Professional, polished and confident when dealing with landlords and clients
• Full UK driving licence preferred
