Head of Marketing & Business Development

About the role

We are partnering with a leading independent private healthcare organisation to appoint a Head of Marketing & Business Development. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape the marketing function, support fundraising, and drive the next phase of growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an integrated marketing strategy aligned with growth plans.
• Lead and mentor a marketing team, fostering continuous improvement.
• Boost patient acquisition through digital channels, CRM, and lifecycle marketing.
• Use analytics, insight and market intelligence to uncover growth opportunities.
• Build and nurture stakeholder relationships to support referral pathways and business development.
• Oversee CRM systems and digital tools to enhance customer journeys and conversion.
• Support fundraising activities aligned with charitable objectives.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on future growth initiatives.

Required profile

• Senior marketing leadership experience in a commercial, service‑led organisation.
• Proven track record of driving growth, customer acquisition and engagement.
• Experience leading teams and influencing senior stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with ability to translate strategy into measurable results.
• Background in healthcare, professional services, financial services, education, hospitality or similar trust‑based sectors is advantageous.
