Head of Operations and Client Services

About the role

This senior position leads operations and client success for a fast‑growing global Travel Management Company (TMC). You will be based in London and work hybrid across the company’s offices in London, Hampshire and Glasgow.

Key responsibilities

• Drive operational excellence and shape strategy for a team of 50 consultants.
• Oversee client success and maintain high service quality standards.
• Produce performance and management information for senior leadership.
• Manage commercial and financial performance, including budgeting and forecasting.
• Plan resources and capacity to meet business demand across multiple locations.

Required profile

• Significant hands‑on operations management experience within a TMC.
• Strong understanding of corporate travel operations.
• Proven ability to lead multi‑location and home‑based teams.
• Experience coaching staff and managing KPIs, SLAs and performance metrics.

Required skills

• Super‑user of Sabre (global distribution system).
• Knowledge of PROTAS travel management software.
