About the role
We are seeking a Head of Payroll to lead the payroll function for a well‑established business in Witney, Oxfordshire. This permanent role offers the chance to own and shape payroll processes for over 2,000 employees across multiple entities.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver a reliable payroll service for all business entities.
- Lead and motivate a small payroll team.
- Improve procedures, introduce governance and controls, and drive payroll performance projects.
- Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and internal policies.
Required profile
- Qualified CIPP payroll professional.
- Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance.
- Proven experience managing payroll for large employee bases.
