Head of People

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing technology firm to find a Head of People who will lead the HR function for a workforce of around 200 employees across the UK and the US. The role is hybrid, with three days in the London office and two days remote.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small HR team, providing strategic and operational HR support to senior directors and managers.
• Design, develop and implement a global HR strategy aligned with the company’s budget and strategic aims.
• Oversee all HR operations, including employee relations, performance management, reward benchmarking and organisational design for both UK and US offices.
• Drive HR projects such as performance‑management reviews, employee engagement initiatives and the rollout of AI‑enabled HR technologies.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for the C‑suite, delivering timely information on operational and strategic matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior HR manager or Head of HR in a commercial, fast‑growing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead HR through periods of growth and manage cross‑border teams.
• Strong commercial acumen and a client‑focused mindset.
• Experience influencing senior leadership and participating in senior‑leadership teams.
