Head of Pricing

About the role

SF Partners is recruiting a Head of Pricing for a leading automotive retailer with a national footprint. Based in Kent, this hybrid role will own the pricing strategy for a large vehicle portfolio, driving margin, stock turn and overall commercial performance through data‑led decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the pricing strategy across the vehicle portfolio.
• Lead the development and automation of pricing processes and tools.
• Analyse pricing performance and market trends to optimise margin and stock turn.
• Build reporting, dashboards and forecasting capabilities to support commercial decision‑making.
• Lead and develop the pricing team, embedding a data‑led approach.
• Chair pricing governance meetings and oversee pricing decisions for key stock.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure effective implementation of the pricing strategy.
• Own the stock profiling process, supporting buying decisions and vehicle allocation across the retail network.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading pricing, revenue management or commercial analytics functions in a data‑rich, fast‑paced environment.
• Strong analytical background with the ability to translate data into commercial decisions.
• Experience developing or implementing automated or algorithmic pricing solutions.
• Track record of leading and developing high‑performing teams.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and work collaboratively across multiple business functions.
