Head of Procurement and Fleet

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Procurement and Fleet to lead our procurement and vehicle management functions from our newly renovated head office in Leeds. You will shape strategy, drive cost efficiencies and ensure compliance across both supply chain and fleet operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that deliver cost savings and operational efficiency.
• Manage supplier selection, negotiation, contract management and performance monitoring.
• Establish procurement policies to meet company and regulatory standards.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
• Lead sustainability and ethical sourcing initiatives.
• Design and execute a fleet strategy to optimise vehicle utilisation and reduce costs.
• Oversee procurement, maintenance and disposal of company vehicles.
• Ensure fleet compliance with legal, safety and environmental regulations.
• Implement fuel management, leasing and insurance cost‑control measures.
• Utilise fleet management software and analytics for performance monitoring.

Required profile

• Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management or related field; CIPS qualification highly desirable.
• Proven experience in procurement and fleet management, preferably within facilities management.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and financial budgeting skills.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
