Head of Property Management

About the role

Our client is a well‑established, multi‑office independent property management and lettings business based in Lee, South East London. They are seeking an experienced Head of Property Management to lead a small team and oversee a diverse portfolio of rental properties.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of three property managers.
• Oversee day‑to‑day management of the property portfolio, ensuring timely maintenance and rent collection.
• Coordinate maintenance activities and maintain strong relationships with contractors.
• Handle lettings accounting, deposit processing, rent reconciliation and tenant referencing.
• Ensure compliance with current property‑management legislation and APT regulations.
• Utilise lettings and property‑management software and CRM systems to track activities.
• Manage complaints, provide solutions and uphold company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing a team of property managers.
• At least 3 years’ hands‑on property‑management experience.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• Professional ARLA/MARLA accreditation is a strong advantage, though not essential.

Required skills

• Intermediate computer literacy.
• Experience with property‑management software packages.
• Familiarity with CRM systems used in lettings.

What we offer

• Competitive salary £38,000‑£42,000 plus commission, OTE up to £43,500.
• Full‑time permanent role, Monday‑Friday 9:00‑18:00 with one Saturday per month.
