About the role

Bright Futures Care Limited is expanding its specialist school network in Salford and seeks a Head of Pupil Engagement. This senior position will shape a safe, inclusive environment where pupils with autism, learning disabilities and complex needs can thrive academically, socially and emotionally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development, monitoring and continuous improvement of pastoral and behavioural support across the school.
• Oversee attendance, behaviour and pupil welfare, using data to drive actions and improvements.
• Promote pupil leadership, voice and opportunities that prepare young people for adulthood and future employment.
• Implement and champion community and employer engagement activities through partnerships with local organisations and community groups.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting children and young people with special educational needs.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
• Ability to build effective, lasting relationships with pupils, families, colleagues and external professionals.
• Resilient, reflective and passionate about making a difference.
• Calm and professional demeanor in challenging situations.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
