Head of Reward

About the role

Altum Consulting is conducting a confidential search for a Head of Reward to join a private‑equity backed client in the property sector. Based in London with hybrid working, the role offers a £110k‑£120k salary on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract that may become permanent. Reporting to the newly appointed Chief People Officer, you will lead the design and delivery of the organisation’s total reward strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Harmonise existing terms and conditions and a range of employee benefits across the business.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive reward strategy from the ground up.
• Support the transformation of HR systems and operating models, ensuring reward data is accurately migrated and maintained.
• Partner with senior leadership to align reward programmes with business objectives and private‑equity expectations.
• Provide expert guidance on compliance, market benchmarking and best‑practice reward frameworks.

Required profile

• Senior reward professional with proven experience in fast‑changing environments.
• Track record of implementing reward solutions on new HR platforms.
• Ability to start on short notice and work autonomously.
• Experience within property or private‑equity backed organisations is desirable.
