Head of Sales – Cyber Security & Digital Forensics

About the role

We are working with an established Cyber Security Consultancy looking to appoint a Head of Sales to lead and develop its sales function while driving continued growth across the UK and international markets. This is a hands‑on sales leadership role suited to someone who can combine team management with their own ability to identify, develop and close new business.

Key responsibilities

• Leading, coaching and developing the sales team
• Driving new business and expanding existing client accounts
• Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting and pipeline generation through to close
• Developing relationships with senior and C‑level stakeholders
• Taking a consultative approach to understanding client requirements and presenting appropriate solutions
• Managing key accounts and personally contributing towards sales targets
• Maintaining an accurate pipeline and producing reliable revenue forecasts
• Working closely with technical and operational teams throughout the sales process
• Representing the business at relevant industry and networking events
• Supporting the wider leadership team with the continued growth of the business

Required profile

• Proven experience managing and developing successful sales teams
• A strong new‑business/hunter mentality
• Demonstrable experience carrying, meeting and exceeding sales targets
• Experience managing complex B2B sales cycles
• Confidence engaging and influencing senior/C‑level stakeholders
• Strong forecasting, pipeline management and CRM experience
• A consultative and commercially focused approach
• Previous experience within Cyber Security, Digital Forensics, Investigative Technology or a related technology/services environment (highly advantageous)
• An existing network across corporate, legal, law enforcement or investigative markets (beneficial)
• Minimum five years' UK residency, full driving licence and ability to complete security vetting
