Head of SAP Technical Services

About the role

As Head of SAP Technical Services you will lead the technical architecture, development and operations of Unipart’s SAP practice. You will act as a visionary, translating complex SAP solutions into clear strategies for client IT leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Technical Architects to design cutting‑edge SAP solutions.
• Manage the full development lifecycle across ABAP, Fiori, Java and SAP BTP/Cloud.
• Oversee data migration and integration using SAP Integration Suite / CPI.
• Direct Basis and Security teams, handling system installations, permission frameworks and cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Present technical architectures, security frameworks and migration roadmaps to enterprise architects and CIOs.
• Host webinars and participate in expert panels to promote Unipart’s innovation roadmap.

Required profile

• Extensive technical experience in the SAP ecosystem with proven leadership.
• Hands‑on expertise in enforcing SAP Clean Core strategy using BTP, Fiori and modern ABAP.
• Strong background in SAP Basis, security design, cloud hosting and integration middleware.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical teams and senior non‑technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
