Head of Security Operations

About the role

Radiant is building AI‑native infrastructure and needs a senior leader to create its Security Operations function from scratch. This founding role will shape strategy, tooling and the operating model for security across data centres, compute platforms and network fabric, while acting as the public face of security for customers and prospects.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own Radiant’s security strategy, policies, standards and risk posture for customer‑facing infrastructure.
• Develop governance, risk reporting and a roadmap to mature the SecOps function.
• Lead the hiring plan and business case for scaling the security operations team.
• Represent Radiant’s security posture directly to customers during sales, due‑diligence and onboarding.
• Source, deploy and operate security tooling for data centres and manage physical, environmental and infrastructure‑layer security.
• Own incident response, crisis management and post‑incident reviews for customer‑facing services.

Required profile

• Hands‑on data‑centre security expertise covering physical, environmental and infrastructure layers in large‑scale, high‑availability environments.
• Proven experience building a security function or SOC from the ground up without an inherited team or toolset.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, able to influence engineering leadership without formal authority.
• Experience working alongside a peer GRC/InfoSec function with clear collaborative boundaries.
