Head of Supply Chain

About the role

This senior leadership position will shape and mature the supply chain function for a fast‑moving, highly technical company. Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will drive performance, resilience and long‑term capability across the entire supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic direction of the supply chain while overseeing day‑to‑day operations.
• Own and improve production planning and scheduling in a dynamic environment.
• Drive procurement excellence and strengthen the supplier strategy.
• Build capability through structured, scalable processes and continuous improvement.
• Lead cross‑functional alignment with Sales, Engineering, PMO and Operations.
• Support the development and implementation of ERP and planning infrastructure, specifically Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Required profile

• Proven track record of building, maturing or transforming supply chain or operational functions.
• Comfortable shaping strategy and delivering hands‑on results.
• Ability to bring structure and clarity to evolving environments.
• Experience implementing process improvements, new systems or ways of working.
• Strong understanding of MRP/ERP concepts, preferably with exposure to system development or implementation.
