Head of Supply Chain

About the role

As the Head of Supply Chain for a leading consumer products business in the Household Goods category, you will oversee procurement, planning and logistics to ensure smooth operations and cost efficiency. The role is central to keeping the supply chain running effectively and supporting the organisation’s goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise efficiency.
• Manage procurement processes, ensuring cost‑effective supplier relationships.
• Oversee logistics and inventory management to meet operational needs.
• Monitor and analyse supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement.
• Lead and support a team within the supply chain department.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align supply chain goals with business objectives.
• Prepare and manage budgets for supply chain operations.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in procurement, logistics and supply chain management.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and improve supply chain performance.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements within the business services industry.
• Confidence in managing budgets and supplier negotiations.
• Experience of working within the FMCG sector.
• Track record of leading and developing teams.
