About the role

We are looking for an experienced Wills & Probate lawyer to lead a well‑established department in North London. The role offers a clear pathway to partnership and the chance to shape the future growth of a profitable practice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the Wills & Probate team, ensuring high performance and morale.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators for field‑based will writers.
• Report directly to the Board of Directors on departmental progress.
• Support business development, including acquisitions and integration of new practices.
• Drive innovation and technology adoption within the department.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer/solicitor with solid Wills & Probate experience.
• Proven experience working in a law firm environment.
• Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Commercial mindset with experience managing performance/KPIs.
• Comfortable with technology and open to innovative solutions.
