Health and Safety Trainee – No Experience Needed

About the role
This traineeship is designed for individuals with no prior health and safety experience who want to launch a career in the field. You will study online at your own pace, gain recognised qualifications and receive support to secure your first health and safety position.
Key responsibilities
- Complete the IOSH Managing Safely course to understand risk assessment and legal duties.
- Achieve the NEBOSH General Certificate, the industry‑standard qualification.
- Carry out practical workplace risk assessments and develop control measures.
- Work with the recruitment team to prepare applications, attend interviews and secure a placement.
Required profile
- Motivated and willing to study online.
- No previous health and safety experience required.
- Commitment to complete the training within 1‑3 months.
Required skills
- Ability to understand and apply health and safety legislation.
- Basic risk assessment and hazard identification.
