Health and Social Care Assessor – Hybrid (Preston)

About the role

t2 Group is seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners pursuing apprenticeship qualifications across workplace settings in Preston and surrounding areas. You will combine remote coaching with planned workplace visits, managing your own diary to meet performance targets and ensure learner progress.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with learners and employers through regular reviews and engagement.
• Deliver high‑quality teaching, coaching and assessment sessions aligned to apprenticeship standards.
• Conduct workplace observations to assess practical competency.
• Review learner work, provide timely constructive feedback and support Functional Skills (Maths & English) where required.
• Prepare learners for the End Point Assessment (EPA) and monitor progress to ensure timely qualification achievement.
• Promote safeguarding, wellbeing and a safe learning environment at all times.

Required profile

• Level 3+ qualification in Health & Social Care.
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in Adult Health & Social Care at Senior Carer level or above.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
