Health and Social Care Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor to support learners across Kent as they work towards apprenticeship qualifications. The role can be taken by a trainee who will receive full training and support, or by a qualified professional ready to start immediately.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and support learners pursuing Health and Social Care apprenticeships up to Level 5.
• Deliver functional skills training and guidance.
• Manage a personal diary to schedule visits, reviews and documentation.
• Maintain accurate records of learner progress and produce required paperwork.
• Motivate, advise and overcome barriers to learning for each learner.
• Contribute to learner recruitment to sustain your caseload.
• Meet KPI targets for timely visits, quality of paperwork and overall administration.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years experience as a Deputy Manager or Care/Registered Manager in Health and Social Care (elderly sector).
• Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
• Full, clean driving licence and own vehicle with flexibility to travel.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to plan time effectively.

Required skills

• Good ICT proficiency.
