Health and Social Care Assessor (Trainee or Qualified)

About the role

We are seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor, either trainee or qualified, to assess and support learners pursuing apprenticeship qualifications in Health and Social Care across the North West of England. Full training and support will be provided for trainee candidates to achieve a recognised Assessor award.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeship qualifications in Health and Social Care (up to Level 5).
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills.
• Manage your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners, overcoming barriers to learning.
• Adapt delivery to meet each learner’s needs and meet Assessor KPI’s for visits, paperwork quality and administration.
• Participate in learner recruitment to maintain your caseload.

Required profile

• Solid occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) as a Deputy Manager for 3‑5 years, or as a Care/Registered Manager.
• Health and Social Care qualification at Level 5.
• Good ICT skills and a full, clean driving licence with a vehicle; flexible to travel.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities, confident, professional and quality‑driven.

• Starting salary £29,000 progressing to £30,000 plus bonus.
