Health and Social Care Trainer

About the role

Glenholme Specialist Healthcare is seeking a Health and Social Care Trainer to deliver high‑quality training across its services from Hertfordshire to Lincolnshire. You will work closely with operational, learning and development, and clinical teams to ensure training standards are met for staff caring for vulnerable adults.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver core and mandatory training topics both onsite and via Microsoft Teams.
• Create and tailor training programmes to address identified skill gaps.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date training records in line with company policy and audit requirements.
• Liaise regularly with the Learning and Development Coordinator and regional Operations Managers to align training with local needs.
• Ensure all training complies with legislative requirements, organisational policies and best practice standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering training in health or social care settings.
• Willingness and ability to travel across Hertfordshire, Lincolnshire and surrounding areas, including overnight stays when required.
• Strong organisational skills for record‑keeping and administrative duties.
• Ability to present training sessions confidently both in‑person and virtually.

What we offer

• Salary £32,000‑£35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
• 28 days holiday plus additional days for service length and a birthday day off.
