Health and Wellbeing Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Health and Wellbeing Manager to lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive health and wellbeing strategy for England Golf. This new full‑time position will support the organisation’s ambition to make golf accessible to everyone by embedding wellbeing practices across the sport.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and manage the national health and wellbeing plan aligned with the England Golf Strategy.
• Develop organisational wellbeing policies and programmes for staff, counties and clubs.
• Gather, analyse and report on health data and wellbeing metrics.
• Engage senior management, board members and external partners to promote wellbeing initiatives.
• Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable outcomes.
• Produce reports, presentations and guidance materials for internal and external audiences.

Required profile

• Deep understanding of health and wellbeing principles within sport and physical activity.
• Knowledge of national health and wellbeing strategies, policies and frameworks.
• Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills with senior stakeholders.
• Proven project‑management experience, handling several initiatives simultaneously.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and presentation materials.
