Health and Wellbeing Practitioner

About the role
The Forward Trust is seeking a Health and Wellbeing Practitioner to support women in custody at HMP Bronzefield. You will help individuals make positive changes, improve health outcomes and reduce re‑offending through compassionate, trauma‑informed care.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑to‑one and group support focused on health, wellbeing and substance misuse recovery.
- Maintain accurate case records and ensure high standards of service delivery.
- Manage a varied caseload, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Deliver trauma‑informed care and uphold confidentiality.
- Participate in the mandatory Drug and Alcohol Workforce Development Programme (DAWFDP).
Required profile
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
- Ability to build trusting relationships with diverse individuals.
- Flexibility, resilience and commitment to high‑quality record keeping.
- Willingness to start the 12‑month DAWFDP at the earliest opportunity.
