About the role
We are partnering with a leading insurance brokerage in North London to hire a senior Healthcare/Private Medical Account Handler. You will manage a portfolio worth approximately £3 million GWP and drive growth opportunities for the business.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a book of business valued at around £3 million GWP.
- Handle 15‑25 policy renewals each month for SME and private clients.
- Conduct market reviews, make recommendations and present insurer propositions.
- Identify and pursue growth opportunities within the portfolio.
- Work with both group schemes and individual private clients.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years experience in PMI/Health Insurance, preferably dealing with SME B2B and private individuals.
- At least 2 years experience as a broker handling SME renewals.
- Advisory role – capable of reviewing the insurance market and providing recommendations.
- Strong knowledge of insurer propositions, underwriting and pricing rules.
- Experience managing group schemes as well as private client accounts.
