Health & Nutrition Advisor

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Health & Nutrition Advisor to provide technical expertise for institutional funding and programme quality. Working 18.25 hours per week in a hybrid setting, the role supports country teams and contributes to high‑quality, evidence‑based health and nutrition programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the technical focal point for health and nutrition matters, maintaining knowledge of global evidence, emerging trends and donor priorities.
• Represent World Vision in donor, technical, partner and sector coordination forums, promoting technical learning and evidence application.
• Identify and assess institutional funding opportunities, support donor engagement, and develop technical content for proposals and capability statements.
• Lead health and nutrition inputs into donor proposals, ensuring designs are technically sound, contextually appropriate and aligned with gender, disability and inclusion considerations.
• Provide technical advice and quality assurance for programmes funded by institutional donors, reviewing approaches, workplans and performance data.
• Support donor reporting, learning and knowledge management by reviewing content, interpreting programme evidence and developing case studies.
