Health & Safety Manager – Office & Site

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety Manager to lead our health and safety function across both office and operational environments. The role is primarily office‑based with occasional site visits throughout the South East and London, offering a high degree of autonomy and cross‑department collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to ensure compliance with legislation.
• Monitor day‑to‑day health and safety performance and report incidents.
• Deliver training and guidance to staff on safe working practices.
• Liaise with regulators and external auditors as required.
• Maintain records of safety documentation and audit findings.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Health & Safety Manager role.
• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent).
• Full UK driving licence with access to transport.
• Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
