Health & Safety Officer – Manufacturing

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Health & Safety Officer to join a fast‑growing manufacturing business in Andover. The role is split between office work and time on the shop floor across two local sites, supporting the company’s drive to achieve ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 accreditation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day health and safety issues within a busy manufacturing environment.
• Conduct and coordinate internal H&S audits and external inspections.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
• Work closely with quality teams to align HSEQ processes.
• Provide guidance to staff on safe working practices and incident reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified Health & Safety Officer or equivalent experience in manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 implementation.
• Ability to work both in an office setting and on the shop floor.
• Strong understanding of HSEQ standards and audit procedures.
