Health & Safety Team Leader

About the role

Creative Support Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Health & Safety Team Leader to head a dedicated team of six advisors and administrators. Based at the Stockport head office, you will champion safety across a national charity that supports vulnerable adults and manages over 1,000 supported‑housing units.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, support and develop the Health & Safety team to ensure consistent safety inspections and advice.
• Lead case management, incident investigations and compliance reporting in line with CQC and housing regulations.
• Maintain safe management of equipment and respond to accidents across the organisation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive safety and quality improvements.
• Travel nationally as required to support sites and conduct inspections.

Required profile

• Experienced health and safety professional with a proven track record in a large, regulated environment.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the country.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Commitment to inclusive, anti‑racist values and safeguarding vulnerable adults.
