About the role
Join our college as a Health & Social Care Lecturer, delivering engaging programmes across Levels 1, 2 and 3. You will play a key part in shaping learners' experience while supporting the department’s strategic objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver curriculum programmes using a variety of teaching methods.
- Prepare schemes of work, lesson plans and assessment materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation, statistical records and complete required administrative tasks.
- Participate in student recruitment, induction activities and liaise with parents, employers, schools and external agencies.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and uphold college conduct standards.
Required profile
- Proven experience teaching Health and Social Care at multiple levels.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with curriculum developments.
- Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to collaborate with tutors and other college departments to support student progress.
- Understanding and promotion of equality of opportunity in line with college policy.
