About the role
We are seeking an experienced Health & Social Care Lecturer to deliver engaging lessons for further education providers in North London. This temporary, agency‑based assignment offers flexibility while allowing you to make a tangible impact on learners studying health and social care at various levels.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality Health & Social Care lessons.
- Teach programmes across a range of levels and abilities.
- Assess, monitor and record student progress in line with college requirements.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic support to help learners achieve their goals.
- Maintain accurate teaching records and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.
- Promote current practice, safeguarding and person‑centred care within the curriculum.
Required profile
- Relevant degree or qualification in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, Public Health or a related field.
- Teaching qualification such as PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Health & Social Care in further, higher or adult education settings.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
