Health Visitor

About the role

This role joins Fertifa’s clinical team to provide expert guidance and support to families during the transition to parenthood and the early years of a child’s life. The Health Visitor will deliver evidence‑based advice, conduct virtual consultations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve maternal and infant wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as primary clinical advisor, offering evidence‑based advice on infant health, maternal wellbeing, developmental milestones, nutrition, and postnatal recovery.
• Conduct virtual discovery calls and consultations, manage inquiries via the Fertifa app and email, and ensure accurate record‑keeping and safeguarding compliance.
• Support daily clinical operations, act as escalation point for complex queries, and collaborate with internal and external wellness providers.
• Create educational content, lead webinars, and contribute to digital health tools to enhance patient experience.

Required profile

• Valid NMC registration as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse – Health Visiting.
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Health Visitor or similar community health role.
• Strong understanding of the Healthy Child Programme, maternal health, infant development, and safeguarding.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time‑management skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Semble or equivalent patient‑management software.
