Healthcare Assessment Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Healthcare Assessment Specialist to conduct patient consultations via phone, video or face‑to‑face and produce comprehensive reports on how health conditions affect daily living. This non‑clinical position offers registered healthcare professionals a pathway to apply their clinical knowledge in an assessment‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments with patients using telephone, video‑call or in‑person meetings.
• Analyse clinical information to determine the impact of conditions on everyday activities.
• Prepare clear, detailed written reports summarising findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate documentation.

Required profile

• Registered HCPC Band 6 Paramedic, Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist.
• Strong communication skills for remote and face‑to‑face consultations.
• Ability to translate clinical observations into written assessments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using video‑conferencing and telephone consultation tools.
• Excellent written reporting abilities.
