Healthcare Assistant

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team at Haddenham Park Care Home in Haddenham, South East England. Working on either day (8 am‑8 pm) or night (8 pm‑8 am) shifts, you will support residents with personal care, emotional support and companionship, ensuring their safety and dignity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care, reassurance and companionship to residents throughout the shift.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing and feeding.
• Monitor and record residents’ health status and report any changes to the nursing team.
• Collaborate with families and external health professionals to deliver high‑quality care.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised environment in accordance with care home policies.

Required profile

• Friendly, caring attitude with a genuine desire to support older adults.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and three days per week.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured procedures.
• Willingness to learn, develop and grow within the role.
