Healthcare Assistant

About the role

The Medinet Group is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support its 2‑Week Wait Dermatology contract across Greater Manchester, primarily in Oldham. You will work across multiple clinic sites, ensuring smooth patient flow and high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and prepare stock and equipment for each clinic session.
• Set up examination rooms for clinicians and act as a chaperone during consultations and procedures.
• Perform administrative duties, including completing reports and handling outcome documentation.
• Travel to various locations nationwide, covering up to five days a week on rotating shifts.

Required profile

• Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
• Passionate about delivering compassionate, high‑quality patient care.
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive two‑week training programme from day one.
• Successful DBS check and right‑to‑work documentation.

Required skills

• IT literacy with proficiency in standard computer systems and software.

What we offer

• Full‑time permanent contract (40 hours/week, including travel time).
• Starting salary £27,144, rising to £28,641 after additional training.
• Travel allowance of 55p per mile.
• Ongoing support, training to NVQ Level 3, and clear career progression.
• Quarterly bonus of 1.2%.
