Healthcare Assistant – Oxfordshire (£17/hour)

About the role
We are looking for a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our community care team in Oxfordshire. You will support individuals with a range of needs, from everyday assistance to complex clinical care, ensuring dignity and safety at every visit.
Key responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medication and record observations.
- Provide tracheostomy care, suctioning, and PEG feeding support.
- Deliver oxygen therapy via nasal cannula and monitor health parameters.
- Assist with epilepsy management and other complex conditions.
- Offer emotional reassurance and maintain patient dignity.
Required profile
- Care Certificate or NVQ in Health & Social Care.
- Minimum 1 year experience as a healthcare assistant.
- Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
- Current DBS registration on the Update Service.
- Safeguarding Level 2 or 3 certification.
Required skills
- Medication administration.
- Tracheostomy and catheter suctioning.
- PEG feeding and care.
- Oxygen therapy (nasal cannula).
- Epilepsy management.
- Manual handling and Basic Life Support.
