Healthcare Service Driver

About the role

The Healthcare Service Driver role involves delivering and collecting healthcare waste and hygiene products across a pre‑planned route in Swindon and surrounding areas. You will work Monday‑to‑Friday, providing professional service to healthcare and commercial customers while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Follow a centrally‑planned daily route visiting healthcare and commercial sites.
• Collect and safely handle healthcare waste, including sharps and pharmaceutical waste.
• Service and replace hygiene products on customer premises.
• Complete digital and paper‑based compliance documentation.
• Provide courteous customer service and return to the depot daily to unload collected waste.

Required profile

• Full UK manual driving licence held for at least 12 months.
• Maximum 6 penalty points and no disqualifying endorsements in the last 5 years.
• Availability to work within a 6 am–6 pm window, 40 hours per week.
• Reliable, safety‑conscious and professional with good attention to detail.
