Heating Engineer – Full Training on Heat Pumps & Biomass

About the role

This field‑based position offers a junior Plumbing and Heating Engineer the chance to specialise in renewable heating technologies. You will receive full industry training on heat pumps and biomass systems while working on service and repair calls across the North West.

Key responsibilities

• Perform door‑to‑door service, installation and repair of renewable heating systems.
• Assist senior engineers and gain hands‑on experience with heat pumps, biomass boilers and related equipment.
• Complete paperwork and service reports for each job.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and adhere to health and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating.
• Full clean UK driving licence.
• Highly motivated to train and up‑skill in renewable technologies.
• Willingness to work across the listed North West locations.
