Hebrew to English Translator

About the role

The Associate Translator will focus on Hebrew‑to‑English translation tasks, ensuring that all work meets TransPerfect’s high quality standards and client expectations. You will collaborate closely with senior team members and adapt to fast‑paced production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Understand and uphold TransPerfect’s quality standards for every project.
• Complete all required trainings, including subject‑matter certification, technology tools, production processes, and quality‑assurance procedures.
• Navigate company resources such as Confluence, Launchpad, and translation technologies.
• Perform linguistic tasks according to project specifications, using reference materials, translation memories, glossaries, and style guides.
• Follow internal and client processes, work under the supervision of a Team Lead, and meet quality and efficiency targets.
• Handle additional tasks assigned by the manager or supervisor.

Required profile

• Native‑level fluency in English and excellent written and verbal communication skills in Hebrew.
• Strong cultural knowledge of both Hebrew and English contexts.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
• Organizational and problem‑solving skills, with a results‑oriented mindset.
• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus successful completion of TransPerfect’s internal linguistic testing.
• Prior translation, proofreading, or copy‑writing experience, especially with life‑science content, is a plus.
