HFT Trader – Equities & ETFs Delta One Focus

About the role

This front‑office position is with a technology‑driven trading firm that is expanding its high‑frequency Delta One capabilities. The successful candidate will deploy and scale high‑frequency strategies across cash equities, index futures and ETFs, contributing directly to short‑term revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy and scale HFT strategies for equities, futures and ETFs.
• Focus on market making, statistical arbitrage and ETF arbitrage.
• Optimise execution, latency and order placement in highly competitive markets.
• Collaborate closely with developers and quantitative teams to enhance performance.
• Generate short‑term revenue through real‑time trading decisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an HFT trader in Delta One products (equities, futures, ETFs).
• Demonstrable live trading P&L from high‑frequency or ultra‑short‑term strategies.
• Strong understanding of order‑book dynamics, liquidity and execution optimisation.
• Background in proprietary trading, market making or HFT firms.
• Ability to perform under real‑time, high‑pressure conditions.
