HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Croydon

About the role

Join Royal Mail’s nationwide trunking team and keep the UK moving. As an HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver you will operate scheduled depot‑to‑depot routes, delivering mail safely and efficiently across the South East England region.

Key responsibilities

• Transport mail between Royal Mail national sites on planned routes.
• Perform comprehensive vehicle safety checks before and after each shift.
• Adhere to scheduled routes with precision and punctuality.
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for at least 2 years.
• Current CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card.
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years.
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence.
• Ability to pass vetting and DBS checks.

Required skills

• Digital Tachograph operation
• Vehicle safety inspection
