HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Heathrow (Temporary)

About the role

Join the Royal Mail team that keeps the UK moving by operating trunking routes between depots. This temporary, full‑time position is based at Heathrow and offers consistent, high‑quality work for the remainder of 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Transport mail between national Royal Mail sites on organised, planned routes
• Perform comprehensive vehicle checks and maintain top‑tier safety standards
• Follow scheduled routes with precision, including morning, evening and weekend shifts
• Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for at least 2 years
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card
• Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience in the last 2 years
• Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence
• Ability to pass vetting and DBS checks

Required skills

• Proficient in completing vehicle safety checks
• Competent use of a digital tachograph
• Strong adherence to planned route schedules
