HGV Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Up to £25.53/h – Temporary

About the role
Join the team that keeps the UK moving by delivering mail for Royal Mail. This temporary, ongoing position runs until the end of 2026 and offers a range of shift patterns across mornings, evenings and weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Transport mail between national Royal Mail depots on planned trunking routes.
- Perform comprehensive vehicle checks before each journey.
- Adhere to scheduled routes with precision and safety.
- Represent Royal Mail professionally on every run.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence held for at least 2 years.
- Current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
- Minimum 180 days of Class 1 driving experience within the last 2 years.
- Maximum of 6 penalty points on licence.
- Ability to pass vetting and DBS checks.
Required skills
- Operation of Digital Tachograph equipment.
