HGV Class 1 Driver – 4-Day Week – Automotive Logistics

About the role

This permanent position is for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) driver based in Bicester, supporting a leading automotive manufacturer. The role offers a four‑day working week, modern equipment and no overnight stays, providing an excellent work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Operate Class 1 (C+E) vehicles safely on UK routes.
• Deliver automotive components to manufacturing facilities across the country.
• Perform vehicle checks and ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and provide exceptional customer service.
• Adhere to all health and safety requirements.

Required profile

• Valid LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence with a maximum of 6 penalty points.
• Valid Driver Qualification Card (CPC/DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 12 months of Class 1 driving experience.
• Strong understanding of driver compliance and road transport legislation.
• Good numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.
