HGV Class 1 Driver – Full‑time

About the role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver for Ocado Logistics in Luton you will operate a modern fleet to collect and deliver grocery orders across the UK, working flexible shifts that may run overnight, early morning or weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Drive HGVs (including natural‑gas‑powered vehicles) on routes up to 12.5 hours per day.
• Collect products from large Customer Fulfilment Centres and distribute them to regional warehouses.
• Deliver orders to customers without multi‑drop hidden lanes.
• Adapt to 32‑hour (4‑day) or 40‑hour (5‑day) weekly patterns and undertake additional hours when required.

Required profile

• Passion for driving and a safe, competent approach.
• Flexibility to vary daily shift length.
• Category C+E driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points and no disqualifications in the past 10 years.
• At least 12 months driving experience on the licence (minimum 6 months LGV experience is desirable).

Required skills

• Category C+E driving licence.
