About the role
We are looking for a qualified HGV Class 1 driver to join a growing steel‑stockholding business based in Newmarket, East Anglia. The role is full‑time, permanent and offers a regular Monday‑to‑Friday day shift with no weekend working.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a company lorry on multi‑drop regional routes covering areas such as Kentford, Cambridge, Soham, Bury St Edmunds and surrounding towns.
- Perform occasional yard duties, including loading and unloading as required.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.
Required profile
- Valid Class 1 or C+E driving licence.
- Proven experience driving HGVs on regional routes.
- Ability to work independently and follow scheduled routes.
