About the role
Acorn by Synergie is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 drivers for a busy logistics operation in Middlewich. The role offers regular weekday shifts, competitive hourly rates and the chance to progress from temporary to permanent employment.
Key responsibilities
- Complete 4‑8 deliveries per shift.
- Perform required trailer checks before each journey.
- Maintain a clean, safe and presentable vehicle.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Required profile
- Valid HGV Class 1 (Cat CE) licence.
- CPC and Digi‑Tacho card.
- Experience of shunting preferred (training can be provided).
- Strong work ethic and reliable time‑keeping.
Required skills
What we offer
- £17 – £21 per hour (PAYE or UMB PAYE).
- Minimum 8 paid hours per shift, start times between 6 am‑7 am, Monday‑Friday.
- Modern, well‑maintained fleet and free on‑site parking.
