HGV Class 1 Driver – £600‑£750+ per week, Permanent

About the role

We are seeking an HGV Class 1 driver to deliver palletised goods on local and regional routes from our Poole base. The role offers guaranteed weekly hours, modern vehicles and a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver palletised goods across Poole, Dorset and surrounding areas.
• Perform local and regional multi‑drop deliveries, typically 8‑15 drops per day.
• Handle tail‑lift deliveries with minimal long‑distance driving.
• Follow well‑planned routes and realistic schedules.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects.

Required profile

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Multi‑drop delivery experience (desirable).
• Good understanding of driver hours and tachograph regulations.
• Professional, reliable and customer‑focused attitude.
• Physically fit, with occasional handball required.

Required skills

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence.
• CPC qualification.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
