HGV Class 1 Driver – Up to £18.43/hr, No Loading

About the role

We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) drivers to join our Oxford‑based logistics operation. The role involves trunking runs, picking up vehicle parts from suppliers and delivering them to our depot, with all loading handled by the team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform trunking trips between third‑party suppliers and the Oxford depot.
• Collect vehicle components and ensure timely delivery.
• Drive pre‑loaded trailers; no manual loading or unloading required.
• Observe scheduled start times (15:00‑23:00) Monday‑Thursday, with occasional Friday mornings.
• Remain on‑site during any waiting periods while trailers are loaded.

Required profile

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence held for at least 12 months.
• Current CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• Maximum of 9 penalty points (6 preferred) and no major endorsements (DR, DD, IN).

• £17.31 per hour for day shifts (06:00‑18:00) and £18.43 per hour for night shifts (18:00‑06:00).
• Eight guaranteed hours per shift.
• Shift start times vary between 15:00 and 23:00.
