HGV Class 2 Driver (Cat C) – Full‑Time Contract

About the role

We are seeking reliable HGV Class 2 (Cat C) drivers to join a leading logistics client in the Carlisle area. The position is a minimum six‑week contract with the potential for ongoing work, offering a structured Monday‑to‑Friday schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Securely transport palletised parcels and mail deliveries across the region.
• Complete approximately 10 bulk deliveries and collections each day, using a tail lift and pump truck for loading and unloading roll cages.
• Maintain accurate paperwork and adhere to safe‑driving standards.
• Interact professionally with customers, representing the company in a courteous manner.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence with Class 2 (C) entitlement.
• Minimum six months of relevant driving experience.
• Valid DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• No more than six penalty points on the licence.
• Good understanding of WTD legislation and a safety‑first mindset.

Required skills

• Operation of tail lifts and pump trucks.
